ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares journal entries; ensures that entries and financial records adhere to established controls, accounting principles and policies
Ensures accurate and appropriate recording of revenues, expenses, accruals, adjustments etc.
Prepare and/or reviews assigned daily ledger entries and other financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles so that the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliation.
Collects financial information for various financial reports and audit requirements.
Collects financial information for various BIR and PEZA reportorial requirement
Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
Evaluates current accounting processes and proposes improvements for operational efficiency
Assists in preparing statistical and monthly reports
All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Accoutancy or CPA preferred
With least 4 years work related work experience
Experience in working in a BPO or Shared Services
Can work well under pressure; can work with minimum supervision
Tax and Audit experience is required
Initiates and/or participates in process
Will be in a morning shift and mid shift during critical month-end close days
Willing to work long hours
