Job Summary
Responsible for the Asset Management module to accurately record and report all Fixed Assets for RBA Globally. Process additions, disposals and transfers and accurately report depreciation in line with RBA global policy for inclusion within RBA general ledger. Responsible for project reporting post month-end close and accurate alignment/reconciliation of Asset Management module with General ledger. Seek for and implement, in close co-operation with RBA A&C Manager, continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service for systems under control.
Accountabilities
The Fixed Asset accountant is responsible for the efficient and effective recording of transactional activity within the asset Management module, ensuring timely close and completion of Asset accounting within the general ledger. Responsible for understanding any escalation points for urgent and critical Asset and Lease related issues. Timely processing and allocation to ensure efficient reporting. Will contribute to an effective Asset Management and Leases reporting control process.
