Position Summary:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will manage day-to-day accounting, finance, and procedural tasks, supporting our Lead Accounts Administrator. You'll contribute to our success through your exceptional organizational skills, commitment to confidentiality, and precision in handling financial processes and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions: Accounts payable & receivable
Payroll: Assist with payroll, superannuation runs, and monthly payment schedules.
Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy in reconciling statements and accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and inter-company transactions.
Administration Support: Assist with routine and ad-hoc procedural tasks, document imaging, and administration as needed.
Reports: Consolidate, generate, and distribute monthly reports.
Maintain/create procedural documentation
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on bookkeeping and financial administration.
Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
MS Office proficient (particularly XLSX)
Accounting at the general ledger level
Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Beneficial Experience:
Knowledge of Australian BAS reporting and payroll.
Familiarity with Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet Reporting.
