As an Accountant at Arc BioPharma Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will oversee financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and provide valuable insights to support our business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to help drive business performance.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
