RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Document financial transactions by entering account information
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Primary liaison to third party partner with regard to taxes and preparation of tax returns

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
CPA license is a strong advantage
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Experience as an Accountant in a Construction or Real Estate company is a strong advantage
Proficient in MS Office
Experience with general ledger functions
Knowledge in accounting regulations and practices is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Able to work effectively individually and in a team environment
Good interpersonal and communication skills
