Specifically You Will...
Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries.
Reconcile accounts completely and on time, including financial discrepancies.
Help to achieve desired closing timelines.
Be responsible for all global compliance deliverable for Elevate entities worldwide such as but not limited to US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Netherlands, France, and Hongkong.
Maintain detailed documentation and substantiation needed to be compliant to each geography's regulatory bodies.
Assist tax consultants in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports for each Elevate entity.
Ensure timely communication and coordination to internal and external stakeholders regarding timelines and critical deliverable.
Support audits and certifications as required.
Maintain financial security and confidentiality with internal controls; recommend policies and procedures related to the same.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP; recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local financial legal requirements by researching and interpreting policy and regulations; prepare advisement for management on required actions.
Other accounting or taxation tasks that management will assign.
Technical Skills
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) required.
Experience with NetSuite is not required but favored.
Exposure to US GAAP preferred
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Chartered Accountant or CPA strongly preferred
Previous audit background preferred
