Functions and Responsibilities

Close Books timely, accurately and completely each month
All GL accounts reconciled - post significant accts to Policy IQ monthly and all accts quarterly
Perform Search for Unrecorded Liabilities / review GL activity by Vendor for monthly trends
Ensure IC accounts zero out - eliminate IC Trade AR, IC Interest, IC Non-trade entry
Significant accruals/reserves reviewed and trued up at least quarterly
Review Comparative Trial Balance & review monthly JE trend to ensure items reasonable
Perform other detailed procedures performed to ensure accounts are fairly stated
Ensure Accounting ledgers including performing all balance sheet account reconciliation ensuring compliance to US GAAP, local Accounting Standards and Company policies
Generate/prepare and submit monthly Management reports
Data file upload

Claiming of VAT input tax with the help of treasury team
Prepare and submit filing of Direct and Indirect Tax Return

Lead Statutory Financial and Tax audit
Coordinate with Corporate Secretary for Directors' Resolution preparation and facilitate Director's sign off and any other documents required

Qualifications and Preferred Skills
Meticulous and able to handle data entries accurately and efficiently
Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
Able to work independently and possess strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Experience in claiming VAT input tax and dealing with local government bodies on various tax issues.
