JOB DESCRIPTION:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with external vendors and assist with outstanding invoices
Reconcile external vendor statements: Research, analyze and resolve complex payment and vendor issues
Evaluate all invoices received from vendors, verify receipt dates
Develop and maintain professional relationships with new vendors and handle all inquiries from customers and employees.
Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Assist with the Accounts Payable month end close process
Process SO Billing Batches each business day
Receive and post lockbox transactions
Identify and post EFT (Wire, ACH) payments
Process credit card payments, upon request
Ensure deadlines are met and issues resolved as necessary
Participate in special projects, ad hoc reports, and cross-train with other team members
Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Minimum 5 years Accounts payable, receivable or General Accounting experience
Must have ability to assist and develop continuous process improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Excel, Word and Outlook experience required
Typing using computer keyboards, 10-key pads and calculators
Strong Computer/Software Skills
Detail-oriented
Previous finance system experience in SAP preferably MAS/Sage, SAP, HFM, Concur, Esker, etc.)
Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
Must have attention to detail
