Job Description:
Key purpose of role:
This position will assist the Finance Manager and Financial Controller to oversee balance sheet reconciliations, compliance, treasury, taxation, internal control, system enhancement and other accounting matters.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and drive new financial system implementation, continuously assess existing tools and processes, and identify opportunities for streamlining and automation
Develop guideline and process flow and administer knowledge sharing to equip users with information and better understanding of new financial ERPs
Manage Accounts Receivable account which includes preparation and printing of billings, review of billed invoices, follow-up collections and maintenance of aging report
Manage Accounts Payable and Employee Accounts, such as review of monthly dues and annual subscriptions, maintenance of aging report and close monitoring of any advances and claims
Perform review of purchase orders, requirements for vendor accreditation and vendor account code setup
Collaborate with local finance, regional and corporate functional teams for special projects, ensure integrity and relevancy of management accounts and information, and to ensure smooth completion of deliverables
Provide ongoing and ad hoc support to business teams on inquiries of operational and financial metrics that includes analysis of revenue, expenses, assets, process, etc.
Assist in tax planning, internal control, develop policy & guidelines
Support the team on any assignments / projects / ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in multinational corporation
Analytical approach to problem solving, thinking outside the box
Energetic, initiative-taker, eager to learn
High level of intellectual curiosity
Accountable & take ownership
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently delivering results
Excellent communication skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledgeable in Finance ERPs (Oracle, SAP)
Fluency in verbal and written English
