JOB DESCRIPTION:
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital;
Prepares the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position;
Audits contracts, orders and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement;
Establishes, modifies, document and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures;
Prepares or assists in preparing tax returns/advises on taxation problems;
Devises and implements manual or computer based system for general accounting; and
Directs and coordinates activities of other accountants and clerical workers performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy;
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA);
Must have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing or equivalent;
A team player; must be able to work individually and as part of a team;
Has a good business understanding of financial concepts and procedures;
Analytical and very detail-oriented;
