About the role
This role offers a fantastic opportunity and salary package for the successful candidate. Applicants will have accounting experience combined with strong commercial knowledge.
The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining the accounting function for Jord Philippines, ensuring all accounts are maintained and statutory and tax requirements are met. The accountant is also responsible for providing support for the Jord Group Accounting functions as required.
What will you do?
Manage the accounting and reporting for Jord Philippines and ensure that all transactions and payments are processed and suppliers are paid in a timely manner
Cost analysis for Jord Philippines
Ensure that Month End reporting is finalised by agreed deadlines for Jord Philippines
Provide assistance on the accounting and reporting for Jord Group including monthly intercompany invoices, transactions are processed in a timely manner and month end reporting is finalised by agreed deadlines
Preparation and analysis of bank and balance sheet reconciliations for Jord Group and ensuring that monthly reconciliations are prepared and submitted to the Head Office
Who we're looking for?
We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
At least 5 years of work experience in all accounting facets
Very good communication skills
Commitment and motivation to achieve deadlines
Possess a problem-solving attitude with high attention to detail
Good working exposure to excel, word, and power point
Act with professionalism, business awareness and be a team player
