Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting
department
including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable,
cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury,
budgeting, check runs
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient
procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of
accuracy.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures
and
features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company,
such
as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting

• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial
reports or statements
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies,
and
principles
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
