Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of all tax related matters, including but not limited to income tax, VAT, FWT, EWT, CWT, reconciliation of payroll postings with HR, balance sheet reconciliation, tax forecasting and government contributions
Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Job Descriptions:
>Devise strategies for potential tax savings
>Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
>Prepare and update tax provision schedules
>Update the company sales tax database as tax rates change
>Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities
>Research and correct errors that caused incorrect tax filings
>Report potential tax issues
>Research the basis for tax positions to be taken
>Advise management regarding the tax impact of corporate strategies
>Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities
>Liaising with BIR, PEZA, BOC, SEC and other government agencies.
Professional experience (years, function)
At least 2 year experience in tax preparation
External auditing experience, preferred
With experience in PEZA registered company
With experience in SAP ERP, preferred
