We are looking for an Accountant to work in a fast-paced Canadian Real Estate Company. Because we are a growing firm, this is your chance to grab a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a key member of our growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Comply with all financial regulations
Analyze, compile and report financial data
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain accurate financial records
Budget plans and financial forecast
Perform audits
Resolve discrepancies
Create periodic reports
Compute taxes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least 1-2 years of related work experience
Knowledge and experience in Canadian taxation is an advantage but not required
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Excellent written and spoken English
Adept organizational and time management skill
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
Eager and motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Sheets/Docs
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Able to start immediately
Willing to work at night
Work Duration: We will start part-time (3 hours) on probation and eventually may be converted to full time (8 hours)
Home Office Requirements:
Internet Connection: Must be 10 MBPS at the least
Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer.
Headset: The Contractor must have a noise-canceling headset
Webcam: For meeting purposes
Must be comfortable in working with a time tracking software
