Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure validity, correctness, and completeness of accounting records (in the accounting system) of the company and its compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Prepare company budget to help meet financial goals and recommend measures to reduce loss
Preparation and submission of billing invoice to the client, and collection thereof.
Preparation of monthly cash flows and semi-annual financial statements for management and audit purposes.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns, filing and paying thereof.
Ensure compliance with the statutory requirements such as SSS, PHIC and HDMF payables as prepared by HR personnel.
Support the preparation of costs computation for project proposals and contracts
Review payroll from HR for office and site employees, and ensure payroll payments
Various accounting tasks as needed (e.g. checking petty cash reports, cash count, disbursement vouchers, cash advances, loans, intercompany transactions i.e. payables and receivables, VAT relief entry, filing documents and contracts, client meetings).
Coordination with external auditor
Qualifications
A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent,
CPA preferred but not required.
Preferably with 2-4 years of experience specializing in Finance-General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Knowledge/experience in Construction/Consultancy/Project Management Industry is preferred but not required.
Has good interpersonal & communication skills; knowledgeable in MS Office & Accounting Systems; possesses a solid background in Local/International Taxation & Accounting Standards.
Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
