OBJECTIVE:
To record financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and enter file data in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring excellent financial management at all times. Kindly note that this position starts with 20 hours per week.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Enter payments in a timely fashion
Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
Manage accounts payable and ensure payments are made in a timely manner
Tag and monitor fixed assets
Conduct monthly reconciliations of every bank account
Assemble information for external auditors for annual audit
Record all financial transactions and create reports
Maintain Chart of Accounts
Issue financial analysis of financial statements on monthly and as-needed basis
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Three to five years working in an accounting role, CPA preferred
Intermediate or better skill level with Excel and QuickBooks
Must be able to produce a full set of financial statements through the entering of source documents, subsidiary journals and adjusting journal entries into the software program, to produce reconciled balances for all balance sheet accounts
Willing to overlap partial working hours with California
