EDR Accounting & Business Solutions is currently looking for an Accountant to work with one of our Australian clients.
Founded in 2017, we launched as a progressive accounting firm and have since grown exponentially with multiple brands including SUMB (Set Up My Business) and SUMO (Set Up My Offshore). We are based in Manila, albeit not together in an office currently, with our second office in Brisbane.
We would love a progressive thinker who enjoys working in a team and collaborative environment. As this is a hire for one of our dedicated clients, we are looking for a solid "all-rounder" who would like to grow at a fast pace, challenging and 'hands on' environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage and communicate with an Australian client
To provide end-to-end bookkeeping for an Australian client using various cloud accounting software
To prepare financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards
To complete tax calculations and tax returns
To perform recurring management reporting for various businesses
To assist in administrative duties required to perform the role and other ad hoc client requests
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
With three (3) or more years of experience in Accounting and Tax or any related fields
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
CPA license is preferred but not required
Preferably with XERO experience
Excellent English communication skills - both writing and speaking - over email and instant messaging
With customer service experience
