Client offers an integrated and professional accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, payroll and taxation services to clients which include government agencies and leading corporations, both within and outside of the Metro, across different industries specifically consumer and industrial products and services, financial services, technology/information communications and entertainment. Responsibilities:
1. Standardize accounting procedures and oversee accounting practice.
2. Full sets of accounts: issuing invoices, recording payables, payments, etc.
3. Monthly GL closing for Philippines entity
4. Preparation of payroll for Philippine staff
5. Monitoring client profitability and prepare client P&L
6. Preparing client reporting where necessary
7. Statutory Audits and Tax Filing: Liaise with company's External Auditor on year-end audits. Prepare financial statements, accounting working papers, accounts analysis and supporting schedules for the audit.
8. Credit control both for AR and AP
9. Review AR, AP and inter-company activities. Prepare inter-company statements.
10. Consolidation of Philippines weekly cashflow and weekly reforecast.
11. Prepare weekly reforecast and review with Business Director
12. Ensure timely filing of statutory and tax filings
13, Ad hoc requests - sales analysis, cost analysis, assisting Business Director with adhoc requests.
Candidates preferably at least 2-3 years of solid experience in accounting, audit, f/s preparation and regulatory compliance processing. Someone familiar with MS Excel (including VLook ups), Powerpoint presentations and report writin, SAP and Xero preferred. CPA is an advantage.
