DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the proper recording of financial transactions of the Corporation;
Supervise the maintenance of subsidiary ledger for each client (Loan document reference numbers and implementation dates, maturity dates, PSIC codes, collaterals, borrower type, loans availed during the month, interest charges and collections during the month, etc.);
Review and ensure accuracy of billing statements as against subsidiary ledgers and make corrections, when necessary;
Responsible for safe-keeping PDCs of clients and for monitoring PDCs maturity dates to ensure that PDCs are deposited on maturity dates;
Review application of clients' payments to ensure accuracy;
Verify balances of Lease Contracts Receivable (LCR) and Other Loans Receivable (OLR) prior to release/issuance of Certificates of Full Payment to clients;
Prepare a detailed aging report of receivables from clients;
Issue recommendation for release of documents and securities to clients whose accounts are fully paid;
Analyze accounts and financial records;
Prepare financial, cost and other accounting reports/statements;
Generate/provide data needed for the preparation of the annual Corporate Operating Budget such as financial projections, budgetary assumptions and estimates
Provide directions to Accounting Unit personnel in the preparation of financial reports, analysis of accounts, and financial projections and assumptions for the annual budget preparation;
Assist in the handling of the discussion/deliberation of findings and assessments reentered by COA, BIR, CB and other similar agencies;
Implement administrative and financial policies, certifies the correctness of vouchers, bills, statement of accounts, trial balances, budget estimates, and other financial statements;
Interpret accounts and records for management, reviews contracts, orders, vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions before their settlement;
Prepare or review correspondence, memoranda and other documents relating to the activities of the division;
Perform other functions as maybe assigned by higher authorities.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Certified Public Accountant
With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience
With at least 16 hours of relevant training
Proficient in oral and written communications
Knowledgeable in PFRS and Philippine taxation
Knowledgeable in Pertinent Issuances of regulatory agencies
