Job Descriptions
The Project Accountant is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing and monitoring of assigned project budget
Review and approve purchase orders related to a project
Review and approve timesheets for work related to a project
Review and approve overhead charges to be applied to a project
Review and approve asset requisitions and transfers
Review and approve reimbursement, petty cash replenishment, and liquidation
Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management
Investigate all project expenses not billed to customers
Investigate fraud, bribery, pilferage, or theft
Monitor refundable deposits, prepayments, and for liquidation
Monitor billing and collection
Monitor inventories and company assets
Monitor manpower resources
Orient new employees and workers of the accounting policies
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related courses
At least 2 years of work experience as a Project Accountant or similar role in the construction industry
Certified Public Accountant is an advantage.
With intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, SAP expertise
Good communication skills, negotiation, and persuasion
Project location -Boso, boso Calawis, Rizal
Contract length: 6 months
