Job Summary Reporting to the AU Financial Controller and working closely with other members of the AU Finance team, this role performs general accounting, financial analysis and reporting tasks including support for monthly, half year and year-end financial reporting process. Tasks include Balance Sheet reconciliations and regular accounting duties. Role also manages POS claims, reports etc. for a number of vendors.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties may change from time to time, but currently comprise:
Managing daily or weekly vendor POS claim submission, reporting etc. for a number of vendors
Ensuring month-end, quarter-end, half-year and year-end close tasks are accurately performed in a timely manner including reconciliation of assigned Balance Sheet GL accounts and all other relevant APAC reporting.
Providing support to Finance team during internal and external audits.
Identifying where current processes can be improved and executing new and efficient methods.
Back-up to other Accountants
Running and supporting the AU Financial Controller with ad hoc projects
