Job Description
This role sits within the finance function of Columbus Capital. The Manila team provides operational support to Sydney (head office), assisting with the ongoing requirement of the business mainly focused on the monthly accounting requirements and regulatory obligations of the Company. As the business has grown the need for additional support from the Manila team has grown. RESPONSIBILITES AND TASKS:
Journal processing for trust entities and corporate transactions
Balance sheet reconciliation and accounting for various subsidiary entities
Commission processing / management and reconciliations
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable - recording invoices, loading payments, managing enquiries
Bank account and income reconciliations
Ad-hoc tasks to support the finance function
Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by Management to achieve business goals
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
With at least 5 years of related work experience
With Microsoft Business Central - Wiise Accounting software is a plus
Experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting is an advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Time management and multi-tasking skills, able to work under pressure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail
Excellent analytical skill
Ability to provide insight based on analysis
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, goal-oriented
Excellent work ethic
