Job Description
You're a numbers person
Must have 2+ years' experience in Australian public practice tax accounting.
Experience with Xero and/or MYOB.
You strive in spreadsheets and building systems and love geeking out over technical accounting, tax, and management accounting.
Ideally, you have a Batchelor degree in accounting, math, economics or engineering with 2+ years of experience in a financial control / bookkeeping / payroll-based role.
Fundamental knowledge of accounting.
You can read a trial balance, pinpoint issues on the Balance Sheet, reconcile a payroll account and post a Master Journal with a Debit and Credit the right way around.
Excellent eye for detail.
Being detailed oriented is one of your strengths and you value quality assurance. You are good at noticing small but important things that may pass under the radar in a high-growth environment.
Transparent communicator.
