Johnson & Johnson Global Services is recruiting for a General Accounting Accountant with at least 2 years of experience. This role will be based in Paranaque, Philippines and will be assigned on a day shift.
Main Responsibilities
Perform analysis of vendor invoice and payment transactions, and resolves issues on time.
Adhere to transaction guidelines and SOX controls, use good judgment to provide appropriate service support while ensuring data integrity
Identify exceptions/discrepancies with regards to procedures and resolves issues accordingly. Works closely with IT, FMD, and VMD.
Perform month-end reconciliation and accrual reports and submitting them on time to the respective users.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or other related fields.
A minimum of 2 years of finance or related business experience is required.
Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
SAP experience is also preferred.
Candidate must have the ability to work independently, think creatively, challenge the status quo, and work across multiple teams.
Individual must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to recommend operational improvements.

Sense of initiative and patience to solve difficult situations
Works independently with minimum supervision
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
