MedRisk, Inc -- a leading provider of managed physical medicine in the United States -- has set up their first Philippine office in Mandaluyong. They are continuously expanding their services, and they need experienced Healthcare BPO associates to be part of their team! The Account Receivable (AR) Analyst is responsible in ensuring timely revenue collection of invoices/claims from payers by constant follow up and resolution of claims denials while following MedRisk's standard revenue process. The role also supports constant communication with external clients in order to achieve department goals
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow up with different payers for unpaid claims for confirmation of payment and/or denial
Analyzation of claim denial and resolution including identification of trends and areas of opportunity for a more efficient workflow that will result to optimal collection rate for MedRisk
Become an expert in all areas relevant to the client's billing and revenue cycle
Research complex billing, claim processing and reimbursement issues
Proper communication with Physical Therapy providers re: claim reimbursement and/or denial
Ensures effective exchanges with various payers to maximize timely collections and payments.
Excellent multi-tasking skills to ensure communicated TATs are being met.
Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Comply with HIPAA and URAC guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a college degree in any field (Nursing/PT/OT degree is a plus)
Must have experience in BPO industry
Exposure to Worker's Compensation laws and statutes
Knowledge of CPT, HCPC, ICD codes for Physical Medicine preferred
Experience claims management preferred
Experience in Medical Billing preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail orientated and strong data entry skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office with intermediate skills in Excel
Time management and strong organizational skills required
Willing to work on night shift
Willing to work on site in Mandaluyong City
BENEFITS
Salary package up to P35,000/month (depending on work experience)
HMO Coverage up to Php 250,000 maximum benefit limit
