About Your Client:
You will work with a U.S. business that provides electrical services and smart technologies for both residential and large-scale commercial projects. With customer service as its top priority, this business was among the 2020 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards winners.
What You Will Do:
Process approximately 100 vendor bills received daily and work with around 2,000 invoices in a month.
Take charge of accurate and timely processing of transactions/bills and day to day data in the system.
Accounts Payable: Match purchase orders, code invoices, and reconcile vendor statements.
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
Understand expense accounts and cost centers
Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
Address and respond to vendor inquiries
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Demonstrated experience in a finance team environment or related field.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in relaying information.
Excellent time management and organization skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
Execute tasks with a very high level of accuracy.
Experience with the following platforms is an advantage:
Netsuite
Pulte
Hyphen Solutions
Thoroughness and a high level of organizational skill.
Ability to nurture vendor relationships.
PC proficiency and precise data entry skills.
Strong analytical abilities.
Must be willing to work in Cebu.
