Requirements:
Minimum 3 years or more of related experience in doing Full-Set of Accounts using either Financial Reporting Standards and/or Charity Accounting Standards (a plus point)
Possess at least LCCI Accounting Diploma and above
Understand and possess knowledge in Financial and/or Cost Centre Management Accounting would be a plus point
Good interpersonal, written and verbal communications, problem-solving and organisation skills
Able to meet tight deadlines, work independently and also a strong team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
Proficient in MS Office & MYOB V.12 software
Responsibilities:
Prepare full sets of Accounts using Cloud Accounting software
Perform daily Account Payable function to ensure transactions are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
Prepare year end schedule for Annual Planning Session ("APS" - Plans & Budgets) & both internal and external Audit period
Liaise with external parties such as Auditors, Bankers, etc
Prepare Journal entries for accruals & other adjustment
Other Accounting support such as process suppliers' payments, staff expenses, reimbursement and other financial reports
Reimbursement of cash flow accuracy on weekly basis and monitor Cash Bank Book
Work with the Administrator to strategise and plan so as to support the Church Operational Structure
Weekly Staff Counter duties
Weekly collection of Tithes and Offerings (on rotation basis)
Weekly consolidation of Tithes and Offerings including encashment of reimbursements
Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned by the Administrator
AD-HOC GENERAL ADMIN DUTIES:-
Answer and direct phone calls
Order get-well gifts / condolences / congratulatory gifts, etc
Assist in preparation for hosting of Guest Speakers / Trainers / Events when required (work together with other Admin colleagues)
