Position Summary:
The AE, Loyalty & Credit Card supports product marketing objectives for the Credit Card product. This position will report to the Loyalty & Credit Card Lead and will work within the Credit Card Team to support and execute strategies that grow the Credit Card portfolio, which includes but is not limited to acquisition, usage and retention in order to meet or exceed the line of business' goals. He or she will be a product champion effective at advocating the importance of the Credit Card to key personnel. Responsibilities also include training of staff and onboard audits for both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises to ensure delivered program follows all regulations and established processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning & Strategy
Develop acquisition and engagement strategies that support card activation, usage and retention, as well as benefit reminders
Support creation of marketing plan designed to grow the portfolio and capitalize on customer engagement to support the overall Credit Card Program business and marketing plan
Product Management
Support Credit Card marketing
Monitor industry trends for Credit Card products
Conduct semi-annual market competitor analysis
Audit multi-channel marketing
Support MyCruise® Rewards program
Set specific goals for initiatives, track performance and communicate results
Staff Training
Conducts shoreside and onboard training for staff responsible for selling the Credit Card product
During shipboard visits, meet and observe staff, conduct relevant training sessions, review onboard program delivery (events, marketing materials, etc.), and oversee internal materials audit
Develop training materials (virtual/web-based/video/written) and support development of promotional videos
Onboard Channel Growth
Responsible for delivering Year-over-Year improvement in onboard Credit Card acquisition targets
Identify opportunities to promote and improve presentation of product onboard
Work with teams to move forward on growth opportunities and develop pilots
Work with Loyalty & Credit Card Lead to establish monthly ship application targets
Train staff to pilot new programs and initiatives
Program Expert and Advocate
Liaise with Credit Card partners on all program initiatives and priorities relative to the onboard channel
Maintains full knowledge of Credit Card program, including any platforms and programs related to processing the applications and rewards redemptions
Eliminates barriers to acquisition and sales by advocating thoughtful solutions and opportunities
Assists with other channel training opportunities as needed (i.e., Call Center)
Compliance and Collateral Management
Conduct audits of program delivery and onboard collateral
Reviews compliance processes with onboard manager
Provides written escalation for all defects to shoreside team
Completes monthly written compliance updates to shoreside team

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Minimum of 1-year related experience in Credit Card, product marketing, sales training or related experience is required
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities and projects
Ability to think strategically
High attention to detail
Highly organized & self-motivated
Thrive in fast-paced environment
Excellent writing and communication skills
Calm in stressful and pressure situations
Ability to lead presentations and large meetings as necessary
Meet deadlines with near 100% accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
