As a System Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our database systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and administer multiple SQL database servers, ensuring their availability, integrity, and performance.
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of database software and related components.
Monitor database systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Optimize database performance through performance tuning and monitoring.
Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Perform regular database backups and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and enhance database performance.
Assist in database design and capacity planning to meet future business needs.
Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a System Database Administrator, supporting multiple SQL servers.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and administration.
Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.
Understanding of database design principles and capacity planning.
Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Night shift schedule availability.
Full work-from-home flexibility
Salary Range: PHP 70,000.00 - PHP 100,000.00 per monthWork Setup: Full WFHWork Shift: Night Shift
