We are looking for a passionate 3D Artist to bring life and fun into our organization's projects. In this role, you'll join our Product Team and help with our design-related efforts, including character development, research ideas and general design efforts. You'll be there in the early stages of our world and your work will have a substantial impact. The ideal candidate will help us bring this vision to life and put smiles on our users faces.
Responsibilities
Create high quality assets that are needed to support the environment;
Create clean, high and low-resolution game topology, UV's, and textures
Work closely with 2D Character Concept Artists to build life into the metaverse and games experiences
Conceptualise, present and execute ideas within time and technical constraints while actively participating in artistic, creative and technical, problem-solving
General 3D asset content creation including modelling, texturing, materials, and lighting, at both mobile and high-end specs
Iterate and polish assets and publish complete assets
Collaborate with engineers and artists to develop an effective and consistent character art pipeline that empowers teammates to do their best work
Receive and provide art and design feedback
Clean topology modelling methods and strong attention to detail
Potentially prepare character documents for external contractors
Requirements
Proficiency with Blender, Maya, Substance, Zbrush, Photoshop or equivalent software
With experience in Voxel
Solid understanding of asset pipelines and agile development environments
A strong portfolio demonstrating your character artwork to very high standards
Complete understanding of modelling, texturing and optimization of assets
A good understanding of technical considerations for character creation, with the ability to communicate with technical team members
A self-motivated team player, with good communication skills
Understands the needs of animation for proper geometry creation and function
2+ years of 3D artist experience
