Our Client is Looking For:
Experience in accounting and bookkeeping
Experience in Xero accounting system
Excel skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Good to Have Skills:
Experience in or ability to pick up quickly SimPro cloud based job & project management software which integrates with Xero.
Experience in or ability to pick up quickly Fathom cloud based reporting software
Experience or knowledge in Australian taxation and GST
What the Staff will be Doing:
Allocate EOM intercompany cross charges between dept's based on staff numbers
Ensure that all costs for the Construction division in the Sale are transferred to the Traralgon system
Reconciliation of intercompany cross charges to ensure balance
Journal entries
Reviewing and monitoring transactions to ensure that they have been allocated to the correct company & division
Process prepayment journals
Balance sheet reconciliations including bank recs
Review Profit and loss for all divisions and all companies
Setting up assets
Running depreciation
Process accruals as required
Capitalizing leases
Calculate lease deprecation and a monthly basis and journal
Reconcile lease amortisation schedules on a monthly basis
Journal interest on property loans on a monthly basis
Reconcile Simpro Drs to Xero Debtors to ensure that they balance on a weekly basis
Send out SimPro Job Activity Reports to division managers
Assist in calculating breakeven figures for departments
Assist in allocating plant & equipment to each division
Adhoc tasks: attach PDF invoice copies to transactions in Xero
