The Working Capital Manager is a member of the Finance department responsible to manage the Credit & Collection, Payables, and Treasury processes and Team.
YOUR ROLE
The Working Capital Manager will have direct responsibility for outcomes achieved on DPO and DSO and other working capital KPIs. Keeping overdue Receivables to a minimum and finding leverage on payables outstanding to optimize the Cash Flow.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Working Capital Manager is a member of the Finance department responsible to manage the Credit & Collection, Payables and Treasury processes and Team. With direct responsibility over outcomes achieved on DPO and DSO and other working capital KPIs. Keeping overdue Receivables to a minimum and finding leverage on payables outstanding to optimize the Cash Flow.
Manage the Working Capital Team and process - AR, AP, and Treasury Functions
Proactively analyze and interpret financial information to identify, initiate and lead projects and actions to improve the cash flow of the companies
Standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of workflows
Alignment on improvements needed with the Tax team on Taxation related to AR & AP and lead implementation
Manage the Cash Flow, including weekly monitoring and reporting/alignment with Finance Director
Manage the Working Capital Account Balances from TB (Example, and not limited to Prepayment accounts)
Manage relationship with Banks and other external working capital external providers such as Lawyers for AR Small Claims lawsuits
Act as the 2nd level of escalation on credit and collection issues and address/communicate with customers/internally to solve the matters.
Managing or executing all necessary working capital requirements from Region and Corporate.
Monthly ICS control for Working Capital Activities
To liaise with the company's auditors on working capital matters
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Graduate of Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience.
With 10 years of experience in Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and Treasury function
Knowledge of Accounting, Working Capital & Financial Analysis
Experience in a Logistics/Freight Forwarding Industry is an advantage
With advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
