For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.Who The Client Is: A boutique digital marketing agency specialising in premium website design, SEO, and online advertising for Australian service-based businesses. The team focuses on building modern, high-performing websites designed to convert and achieve strong search engine visibility.Role Overview: You will be working directly with the Director, a website designer himself to build premium, custom websites across multiple platforms, primarily WordPress/Elementor. This is a collaborative, high-standards environment where every project pushes the quality bar higher.You'll work on high-end Australian brands, contributing not only to the design and build of their websites but also to SEO structure, user experience, and custom design elements that elevate the entire digital presence.Your work will influence everything from brand perception to conversion performance, making this a role for someone who genuinely cares about quality, detail, and outcome not just delivery.Key Responsibilities:You will work directly with the Director to design and build custom WordPress websites from concept to completion.
Create bespoke, high-end website designs (no templates)
Clean, minimal, modern aesthetic with strong brand alignment
Build layouts using typography, spacing, hierarchy, and visual systems
Add tasteful animations, interactions, and motion
Figma/Webflow experience is a bonus
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience building custom WordPress/Elementor websites
Strong design portfolio - clean, modern, minimal, premium
Deep understanding of SEO-ready structure and clean site architecture
Ability to interpret and execute brand identity across all page elements
Excellent English communication
Strategic thinker who designs for results, not just aesthetics
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to edit, retouch, and prepare assets for web
Strong graphic design capability, layout, colour, hierarchy, iconography, and visual polish
