Our client is seeking to take on a part-time Web Developer to assist in their growing business.
They are an Australian based company that offers boutique cooking classes. They have recently expanded to include an online business offering ready made meals.
Job Responsibilities:
Become the key in-house web developer
Re-build an existing site improving its functionality with less plugins and improved speed and site health
Load Google Analytics and verify with Webmaster Tools to track the site effectiveness
Ensure the page structure while building is SEO friendly, Facebook Pixels loaded, integrating Active campaign and gravity forms
Use best practice design with reliable plugins
On-going the role will be to support the business in maintaining the site and provide on-going website support
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of WordPress experience
Minimum 3 years of PHP experience
Must have built a minimum of 4 WooCommerce sites
Must have experience in maintaining sites after having built them
Your experience with SEO will provide an advantage to securing this position
Attention to detail
A "can-do" attitude to everything you do
Ability to work independently and to timelines
Excellent working PC/Laptop
Reliable wired internet connection (Speed should be at least 10Mbps for download and 5Mbps for upload)
