Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and provide maintenance support for WordPress websites
• Develop custom themes and plugins when needed
• Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress
• Integrate and set up plugins
• Optimise page speed of websites
• Assist in implementing SEO in websites and creating responsive website designs
• Actively communicate with stakeholders about the status of project
• Monitor and optimise website performance and ensure everything is working correctly and loading quickly
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
• Upload Blogs, Blog Archive, Blog with Video
• Learn ActiveCampaign in order to integrate forms and workflow
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• Proven WordPress development experience
• Initial website build/design and ongoing development using WordPress
• Experience in migrating old websites to a new site using WordPress
• Familiar with the latest technologies of WordPress Development
• Experience in creating mobile-friendly websites
• Excellent English speaking both written and verbal
• Ability to achieve deadlines and show good attention to detail
• Good project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic
• Experience in integrating other online platforms like Staff Application form, Volunteer, and Staff learning platforms would be an advantage
• Willing to learn ActiveCampaign
• Ideally familiar or with working knowledge on SEO to optimise sites from a marketing perspective
• Graphic design experience would be nice to have
