About the role
The Wirebond Sustaining Equipment Engineer will manage the daily sustenance of all wirebond machines for Sensors.
What you will do
Lead a group of technicians to support wirebond equipment repair and maintenance to support production and delivery
Monitor performance of all WB machines in terms of availability, UPH, Downtime and MTBA
Plan and monitor spare parts requirements
Work in tandem with process engineering for quality and efficiency improvements
Responds to performance indices by analyzing problems and brainstorming strategies, and implementing solution to improve trends
Provide training to shop floor personnel, and other personnel on project, and job training to new employees to achieve key results
Support project engineering group during new machines and device introduction
Interface with preventive maintenance group to improve and update preventive maintenance checklist and procedure to prevent machine breakdown
What you will need
BS Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, ECE)
5 years of Experience in the same industry and process
Proficient in electro-pneumatics, mechanical, electronics
Proficient in using statistical tools (Minitab, Statistics, Exensio, SpotFire, etc)
Deep electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical fundamentals
Project management skills
Problem Solving Tools (i.e. 3x5 why, Kepner Tregoe, PDCA, etc)
