Job Description
Supervise and coordinate welding activities in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
Plan, organize, and assign work accordingly to welders, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Provide guidance and technical support to welders during welding operations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of welding work.  Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize welding equipment
Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize welding equipment performance.
Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of welding tasks.
Train and develop welding team members, identifying areas of improvement and providing necessary support.
Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of welding materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate documentation of welding activities, including work orders, reports, and inspection records.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Additional Information:
Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the welding field.
Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and procedures (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
Proficient in using welding tools, equipment, and software applications
Must have experience in Steel Fabrication industry
