Position: WELDING ENGINEER
We are looking for a welding engineer to be responsible for managing welding projects and supervising the welding team. The responsibilities of a welding engineer include providing consulting services, coordinating multiple projects, and overseeing the welding procedure.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Engineering, Preferably Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years' experience as a Welding Engineer
Licensed Engineer
Certified Welding Inspector
Training for Welding engineering, welding inspection and non-destructive testing
Skills Required:
Welding Inspection
Non Destructive Testing
Computer Literate
Responsibilities:
Leading welding projects.
Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements.
Overseeing a team of welders.
Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
Managing welding procedure qualifications and generating welding procedures to help the manufacturing and welding teams.
Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.
