WELDER
Job Description:
We are looking for skilled Welders (SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding) to join our manpower pool. The role involves performing welding tasks on various metal components to ensure strong and durable joints according to project specifications and safety standards. Applicants with experience are encouraged to apply, and having NC II certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Perform SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) on different types of metals.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and electrodes.
Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Repair and maintain welded parts as required.
Follow company and industry safety protocols at all times.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder (SMAW).
Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions.
Physical stamina and attention to detail.
NC II Certification in Welding (preferred but not required).
