Job Description
Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications
Fully aware of GMAW and FCAW complete process. Determining correct gas ratios.
Weld carbon steel & stainless steel according to blueprints.
Reading and interpreting specifications and engineering blueprints accurately.
Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required. Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints with welding symbols
Operating cranes and other machinery for transporting materials to welding worksites.
Liaising with the welding supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement
Testing the strength of each joint during and after project completion.
Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures, applicable laws, rule and regulations, environment, health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
