Responsibilities and Duties:
Graphic and Website Designer
The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional graphic, web design and web development services to the clients. Additionally, the position holder will also support client facing design staff as they provide account management services and sales support to the customers.
Provide exceptional graphic design services across a range of digital and printed mediums
Provide exceptional web design and development services, with a heavy emphasis on WordPress websites delivered via Elementor
Support client-facing design team members in their account management and sales support duties
Ensuring that tasks are completed on or under budget or, if not possible, overruns are clearly communicated to the project manager once known
Ensuring that the quality of work meets or exceeds the expectations of our agency and the client
Provide input into web and graphic design best practices and next-generation design and digital trends
Develop and maintain a working understanding of how the internet works (Web servers, DNS, SEO etc)
Participate in the marketing and development of the agency's brands
Maintain an accurate timesheet within our agency's internal resource tracking system
Other tasks as directed
Requirements
The key skills that the position holder requires to be successful in this position include:
3 years experience in Web Design and Graphic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent design skills including the ability to produce great designs whilst under pressure and to a deadline
Excellent WordPress skills including the ability to use Elementor efficiently and build a website from scratch within WordPress/Elementor
An incredibly high level of attention to detail
Great time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to switch between projects efficiently and effectively
Intermediate to advanced skills within the Adobe Creative Cloud platform - with a heavy emphasis on the Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design products
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a clear understanding of when to persevere with an issue and when to seek the guidance of other team members
Great team collaboration and communication skills, including the willingness to both listen to and provide feedback to other team members
