The Web QA should perform the following responsibilities focusing on functionality, compatibility, and usability testing (excluding testing for security, performance, database, or crowd):
i. Create test scenarios/test cases/test scripts to validate functionality, including (but not limited to):
1. SSO/Auto Logout
2. General display and ease of use
3. Reproducing a bug (providing only the minimum set of steps)
ii. Execute Test scenarios/cases/scripts against the current supported browser/operating system stacks, including:
1. Desktop
Chrome 49+
IE 11+
Safari 10+
Firefox 49+Microsoft Edge 13+
2. Ipad
Safari 10+
Chrome 57+
iii. Perform actual testing in the website consistently in relation to test scenarios and test cases created/logged. The frequency of tests will be determined based on the Client's requirement.
Responsibility:
Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases and analyze results
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
Proven experience in Web QA or similar role
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Attention to detail and ability to document
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Graduate BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
