Job Summary
 
Reports directly to the Lead Full Stack Developer and is in charge of building the Mynimo website and other company-owned websites from planning to completion of features.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
Build quality website features and establish efficient execution that lessens site errors and bugs.
Engage with the Lead Developer in designing and developing APIs.
Validate, fix and address the reported site issues from Github tickets.
Gather report data from the database for client presentation.
Implement, enhance, test, and review website features on the staging site.
Gather database lists and recipients and/or conduct SMS and Email blasts.
Coordinate with internal and external clients for website and mobile app concerns.
Read web development news, case studies, and blogs to keep the website up-to-date based on best practices.
Attend daily stand-up meetings with the Lead Full Stack Developer and other developers, including reporting accomplishments, to-dos, and impediments.
Collaborate via MS Teams, GitHub comments, documentation, and call or video conferences.
Perform relevant development tasks assigned by the Immediate head.
Job Specifications
 
Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or any programming courses
No. of years of relevant work experience:
2-3 years experience in web development

Technical Competencies:
Has knowledge in PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, MySQL
Has knowledge with PHP frameworks (like Laravel and CakePHP)
Has knowledge with JS frameworks (Vue, NuxtJS)
Has knowledge in RESTful API design, can integrate APIs
Has knowledge using version control (GIT)
Has basic understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Has knowledge working in agile development environment
Knowledgeable in software development lifecycles
Has knowledge in project management tools (Trello, Github)
Tools needed to perform the job:
PC with at least 8gb ram or above (better if linux/mac)
Code Editors e.g (Vim, VS Code, Sublime Text 3, IntelliJIdea)
Windows/Unix Terminal, cmder, GIT terminal
Postman/Insomnia for API Debugging
Visual tool for database architects e.g (MySQL Workbench, SQLyog)
Web Debugging (Chrome Dev Tools, Responsively, Fiddler)
