About the team
Part of what makes Trend Micro a thought leader in cybersecurity is how we strive to keep the digital world informed and equipped with the knowledge to choose the right defenses for the evolving cybersecurity landscape. The Technical Marketing team plays a key role in this facet of the company by bridging in-house experts with a larger audience and building an impressive library of cybersecurity content.
As a member of the team, the Web Developer will write code for both front- and back-end systems. The main responsibilities include developing databases and services for functionality, as well as creating user interactions on various websites and platforms.
What you'll do
Collect and assess user requirements in collaboration with project manager and UI designer
Managing the entire web development process from start to deployment
Develop and maintain codes using .NET (C#, ASP.NET) and Javascript framework
Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
Modify and test changes to previously developed applications
What you need
At least two years of experience with.NET, C#, [website] MVC framework, and.NET web APIs is required.
Experience with JQuery, Bootstrap and new JavaScript frameworks, Angular is plus
Skills on Database design, table, views creation, MSSQL server, writing SQL scripts, stored procedures, and optimizing queries.
Should be able to work with different rest APIs
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Good time-management skills
A college degree, preferably in Computer Science or any relevant field
What will help
Great interest and proficiency in cybersecurity the Web, and surrounding technologies
Project management experience with coordination skills is a plus
