Job Description:
1. The Web Developer will be part of the Marketing team that is responsible for the development of the websites that may will be required by the company
2. Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
3. Coordinate closely with both the Creative and Marketing team in coming up with websites, static or dynamic
4. Develop modules that will integrate internal and 3rd-party APIs
5. Develop applications that will serve data to marketing channels
6. Ensure that all the websites follow SEO standards
7. Be able to design, develop and maintain deployment pipelines
8. Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our website
9. Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Job Requirements:
- Wide understanding of existing Open Source CMS especially WordPress
- Knowledge of PHP Frameworks
- Familiar with WordPress Plugins development
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including but not limited to HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
- Experience in both developing and consuming APIs
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer
- BS in computer science or a related field
