Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 1-2 years proven working experience in Web development
• Familiarity/Background in utilizing PHP, MySQL, JQuery, JavaScript in programming
• In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, Responsive Web Design
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, Web Services (REST/SOAP), JSON, AJAX, API's
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• Experience on utilizing web development frameworks and CMS such as CodeIgniter, WordPress or the like is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with web designers and programmers to develop the website
• Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards and is properly structured
• Ensure responsive website and compatibility with browsers
• Validate and address/fix issues
• Determine user needs by analyzing technical requirements
• Temporarily Remote / Work from Home
