We are looking for individuals who can evangelize the idea that productive work can be done from anywhere! Right now businesses are spending billions on larger than necessary workspaces. The pandemic has forced businesses to consider work-from-home arrangements, but businesses are struggling to see this as a sustainable and productive way to move forward.Squadzip is the Digital Extension of the Office, a platform that serves as a central reporting hub for all types of customer interactions, face-to-face interactions, video calls, voice calls, messaging, and more. We are looking for a few, energetic, driven individuals to help us spread this movement across the world.Responsibilities:
Work on assigned projects using mainly Ruby on Rails and React
Occasionally assist with planning and designing product features
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Reverse engineer and update existing codes for better readable approach and performance improvement
Monitor and improve the performance of the web application
Querying and showing data depending on the given requirements
Research current and existing technologies for potential use
Help troubleshoot and fix problems in production
Preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
Knowledgeable on HTML5, CSS/CSS3, SASS, JS (preferably knows EM6 syntax and up), JQuery and React JS.
Experience and working knowledge on SQL and RDBMS is required. Some background with PostgreSQL database is a plus.
Preferably worked on Ruby on Rails environment (latest version is a plus)
If no experience with Ruby on Rails, experience and working knowledgeable in either PHP, Java, Python or .NET is required.
Knows REST and has experience on working with JSON response.
Knowledge in creating and maintaing an API.
Strong knowledge in Object oriented programming.
Experience on working in a MVC environment.
Can work on a Linux Environment.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Has strong problem solving skills and an attention to detail.
