Role Summary
We're looking for a motivated & creative Web Designer for our client, David Petersen (NHM). The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to sharpen their web design skills, enjoys creative problem-solving, and thrives in a team environment. Responsibilities
Converting graphic, video, and written components into compatible formats for the web
Assisting the web design & development team with all aspects of website design
Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with the client's website
Assisting with testing and maintenance of client websites
Collaborating with developers to implement new web features
Keeping up-to-date with the latest web technology trends
Requirements
At least 1-year experience in web design
At least 1-2 years of experience in graphic design
WordPress development experience
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Portfolio of sample work
Basic understanding of HTML & CSS
Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design
Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
Good visual design sense
Experience in responding well to clients' design requests
Must be willing to work US Pacific Office Hours (12AM-9AM PHT)
Nice to have
Experience in a startup environment or similarly a fast-paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic environment.
