Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
Corporate Actions event creation, notifications to Front-Office, instructions to custodian on voluntary events, bookings and account closures.
Booking of dividends, coupons, maturities and principal pay downs.
Managing class actions: event creation, notification to Front-Office, preparing claim documents and monitoring cash receipts
Ensuring release of payment swifts & processing of manual payments. Monitoring cash incoming and outgoing funds.
Transfer of assets, securities from external firms to & from JP Morgan and also internally for our clients.
Managing mailbox queries and other ad hoc requests from Front office groups.
Provide investigation support to the front office teams.
Managing daily cash breaks allocated to the teams.
Working on various efficiency projects
Core Skill-sets
Strong knowledge of International Banking and financial services operations.
Candidate should possess strong knowledge of the securities industry across Asia, EMEA and US markets from a trade lifecycle perspective.
Candidate should be familiar with Swifts and cash model.
Relationship building skills - To develop and build working relationships with diverse groups and senior executives.
Client focus - Role involves servicing highly sensitive ultra-high net worth clients of the bank and hence managing to key quality experiences is one of the key deliverables.
People management - ability to manage large teams, develop key talent, as well as manage the expectations of people. Ability to manage groups remotely across multiple locations.
Be able to drive positive changes, promote ownership and demonstrate "My business Mentality".
Professional Qualifications, Experience & Essential Skills
CA / MBA from recognized institute with 12+ years of relevant work experience.
Prior experience in managing large teams
High level of proficiency in excel and a very high degree of comfort with technology
Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner.
Good analytical and presentation skills
High visible energy / drive
Should be willing to work in different shifts.
