DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Responsible for driving MEC and industry best practices with the whole agency and participating in our
thought leadership throughout the industry.
. Working with - and learning from - a wide variety of people from MEC, client and agency partners.
Measures of Success-
In three months:
. Understand client's business and help the business unit to optimize the team and ensure the execution
smoothly
. lead and manage the client servicing team: regular fortnightly reporting, resource planning (to assign
appropriate team members to projects, to resolve issues), appraisals and personal development of the client
servicing team, recruitment of new team members
In six months:
. Start to lead the process to write and execute client development plans for Key Client Relationships
. Become the key contact window and familiar with client's business
. Develop best practice in client servicing and to run regular sessions with the client servicing team to share
knowledge and experience
In 12 months:
. Start to personally lead one or two key client relationships and has successful case as achievement
. Seek and develop client development opportunities and contribute to the process to win new business
Responsibilities of the role:
. Leading the strategic development process and central source of all media directions aligned with clients
. Driving our integrated planning responses for key clients, prepares media recommendations/strategies
and oversees implementation of all approved media plans
. Championing MEC's integrated planning process, and putting MEC Momentum (proprietary purchase
journey research) thinking at the heart of our work.
. Coaching planners & account teams to deliver great integrated planning responses.
. Driving digital adoption, in collaboration with our Digital specialists, such that we recommend the right
digital acceleration strategies to our clients.
. Securing trusted advisor status with our key clients.
. Contributing to client growth plans, in order to drive client growth . Developing effective working relationships with leaders across clients, Digital, Analytic, Access. . Being a key part of the MEC teams, contributing thinking, support and helping build a motivated team. . Driving quality of agency output outside of day to day planning responses through white papers, award entries and thought leadership projects.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of a business or research-related
course (i.e. UP Communication Research).
Competencies
. Experience of planning across multiple categories,
brands essential - experience preferred.
. Media / communication or digital agency
experience essential
. Excellent understanding of integrated
communications process.
. Demonstrate exceptional strategic & critical
thinking and effective problem solving skills
. Ability to solve issue at hand with proven record
of building client relationships, growing accounts
and winning new business/pitches
Work Experience: 6-10 years work experience in a marketing/advertising/research-related field (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) Others . Possess and utilize advanced level presentation, verbal and written skills . Display strong communication, coaching and people skills maintain positive attitude able to inspire and spot potential . Appropriately and openly participate in team, agency, and industry initiatives.
